This study aims to improve the skills of students in singing the song after the regional model methods Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) in class VII B SMP Negeri 2 Singkawang applies. The research is a form of class action. The subjects were students of class VII B amounted to 32 people. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research tool is the observation sheets and sheets test of skill. The results of the first cycle that aspect of the joint was obtained, the pronunciation of words is not yet perfect. In terms of intonation, students\u27 difficulties when a low tone. In the aspect of the term, students still looked tense and embarrassed to sing in front of the class. In the second cycle students have good articulation, each vocabulary contained in the lyrics of the song has been heard clearly. Students have been able to sing with proper intonation. The expression of the students were safer when they appear in front of the class even though it still looks a little tense and embarrassed. It can be concluded STAD method can improve students\u27 skills in singing songs models.
